We are at the centre of one of the last true wilderness areas in the world, that stretches from Vancouver, British Columbia in the south, to the Yukon Territories and Alaska to the north. Our towns and roads provide adventure travel to a forest, lake and mountain area of 60,000 sq km, roughly twice the size of Belgium, or three times the size of the state of Massachusetts. Most of the
land is Crown-owned and has free access on many trails and forestry
